FAITH. FAMILY. PUBLIC SERVICE.

His story is one of faith, family, entrepreneurship, community involvement, and public service. From ministry and nonprofit work to local business ownership and service on the Euharlee City Council, Ronald has spent much of his life working with people and investing in the community around him.
Today, he is seeking to return to the Euharlee City Council and continue that service.
A LIFE OF SERVICE
Ronald answered the call to ministry and began working alongside Donald Strickland as an overseer of Hope House Ministry in Cartersville, Georgia.
In September 2012, Ronald began pastoring Glory Harvester Church, where he and his wife, Patricia, continue serving together.
Ronald was elected to the Euharlee City Council in 2013 and served a four-year term representing the community.
Pastor. Community leader. Real estate developer. Local business owner. Husband. Father. Grandfather. Candidate for Euharlee City Council.
Ronald is the son of the late Jimmy and Viola Nesbitt. He graduated from Cass High School and went on to study Business Management at North Metro Technical College and Georgia Highlands College. He later pursued theological studies, earning a degree in Theology after answering a call into ministry.
In 2008, Ronald began working alongside Donald Strickland as overseer of Hope House Ministry in Cartersville, Georgia, a program dedicated to offering hope and support to men from all walks of life. After two years building this ministry on the gospel of Christ, he recognized a growing need to provide shelter and support for women as well.
With the support of his wife, Patricia Nesbitt, and other dedicated women of faith, Ronald helped establish the Hope House Women’s Shelter, which offers refuge to women facing life’s hardships. The shelter provides educational programs, workforce development training, drug rehabilitation support, and daily devotion to help women rebuild their confidence and their lives.
In 2010, Ronald was called to pastor Fairview Methodist Church in Rydal, Georgia. On September 2, 2012, following a season of prayer and fasting, he was called to pastor Glory Harvester Church, founded on the scripture John 11:40. Pastor Nesbitt continues to look forward to new ministries growing out of Glory Harvester Church, where he and Patricia serve together in Cartersville, Georgia.
Ronald was first elected to the Euharlee City Council in 2013, serving a four-year term as a councilman. Today, he continues to be active in community and civic life as a member of Rotary International, a real estate developer, and a well-known entrepreneur in Euharlee. He is also the owner of Little Lambs Learning Center, supporting local families and early childhood education in Bartow County.
Ronald is married to Patricia Nesbitt, and together they are proud parents of five children: Tyson (Mecole), Shandy (Brandon), Raymond, Brittney, and Jimmy; and grandparents to Nevaeh, Phalyn, Lilliee, Jada, Myrah, Jaylon, Daxton, and Maco. They also have a goddaughter, Ariane, and a godson, Zain.
WHY I’M RUNNING
Euharlee has grown and changed since Ronald first served on the City Council, but his commitment to the community has remained constant.
He is seeking to return to the council to bring experience, thoughtful leadership, and a community-first approach to the decisions shaping Euharlee’s future.
Ronald believes progress should strengthen the community without losing the character, relationships, and sense of home that make Euharlee special.
Community. Integrity. Service.
